Copen — Upgraded to BBS Wheels!
I just scored a set of BBS wheels with tires for my Copen on Yahoo Auctions! The tires are the same brand I’ve been using, but the wheels — that’s where things get exciting. BBS — the brand every car enthusiast dreams of. Granted, these are cast BBS wheels , not the forged type. They’re the more affordable version (lol). But still — BBS is BBS. The brand power alone is huge! (爆) These BBS wheels originally came standard on the special edition Copen called the "Ultimate Edition." Naturally, the fitment is perfect — no surprises there. Weight savings: Compared to the stock wheels, each BBS wheel is 1.8 kg lighter . Across all four wheels, that’s a total of 7.2 kg shaved off . There’s a saying: "Reducing 1 kg of unsprung weight is equivalent to 15 kg of sprung weight." By that logic, it’s like dropping nearly 100 kg overall! Real-world effects?
